About Me - Meet Fifaa

Holistic Health Coach | Diet & Nutrition Therapy Practitioner | Trauma-Informed Transformation Trainer | Doula | Founder of Nurture Afyah

Welcome!  I’m Fifaa, the heart behind Nurture Afyah.

I created Nurture Afyah because I believe healing begins with care real, embodied, ancestral care. The kind of care that listens deeply. The kind that honors your story, your body, and your transitions.

As a dietitian, holistic practitioner, trauma-informed transformation trainer, and doula, I support clients through some of life’s most tender and transformative seasons from prenatal preparation and birth support to postpartum recovery, as well as gut healing, hormone balance, detoxification, burnout recovery, and trauma transformation.

My work is rooted in the understanding that symptoms are not random  they are messages. Together, we slow down enough to listen.

My Approach

I blend modern nutrition science with functional medicine, cultural foodways, and nervous system-informed support. Healing is never just about food;  it is about safety, rhythm, connection, and nourishment on every level.

I specialize in:

  • Prenatal nutrition and birth support

  • Postpartum nourishment and recovery

  • Gut and hormone health

  • PCOS and cycle support

  • Detox and gentle cleansing

  • Trauma-informed transformation

  • Rebuilding your relationship with food and your body

“Afyah” is Arabic for wellness,  but to me, it means something deeper. It is wellness that feels rooted. Soft. Remembered.

This space is a sanctuary for those remembering their wholeness.

Beyond my clinical work, I hold tea ceremonies, weaving ritual and reflection into healing spaces. I find joy in hiking, reading, and traveling;  always seeking connection with nature, culture, and ancestral wisdom.

Rooted in care. Aligned with your healing.
